Food and toiletry products in the pharmacies – over 6 billion HUF turnover
According to the Nielsen market research company; Pharmacies are becoming more involved in the selling of daily consumer products. In the first half of the year with 16 categories, the pharmacies marketed 6 billion HUF worth such goods.
Within the total domestic retail sales – in value – the market share of pharmacies of dry baby food is 53 percent.
Pharmacies have a considerable weight in the first half of the year of sun lotion creams (22), chiropodist products (17), facial products (16), baby care products (14), as well as at tea and intimate soap products (9-9).
