”Pass it back, Bro!” – By the summer of 2023, the results of the campaign will reach 7.5 tons!
The “Pass back, Bro!”, which has been running for more than 5 years campaign, the amount of mobile phones collected in the spring of 2023: at 115 collection points – 1524 kg! The organizers are satisfied with the results and thank the collection participants for their work!
Together with the results of the campaign launched in 2018, more than 7.5 tons of unused mobile phones have been collected with the participation of a total of 1,111 collection points.
“Pass back, Bro!” is in its fifth year. called, used mobile phone collection campaign, which was jointly announced by the Jane Goodall Institute, the KÖVET Association, the Afrikártét Foundation and the Protection Association. Additional collection points joined the campaign this year as well. Many of the organizations participating in the collection organized internal communication campaigns, attitude-shaping events, and lectures, so they were able to actively mobilize their environment to drop off as many mobile phones as possible in the collection boxes. In the spring, the organizers helped the collectors with an informative webinar and an animated video film. The recording of the video and the webinar can be viewed on the YouTube channel of the KÖVET Association.

The most successful company participating in the campaign will receive a Chimpanzee Adoption as a gift within the framework of the Institute’s program (Chimpanzee Adoption Program)
The adoption was granted to: Auchan Magyarország Kft.
The best-performing SME, institution, educational institution participating in the campaign, as well as the attitude-shaping winner with a special award, will receive a presentation entitled “Mobile phones for gorillas” presented by the Jane Goodall Institute, as well as the winners of the Large Company and SME categories, and one Green Office each with the Special Prize for Communication – Green Event presentation organized by the KÖVET Association.
