BeoBee honeys have conquered Paris too! Three Hungarian honey varieties among the best in the world

Hungarian honey producers achieved international success at the Paris International Honey Awards. At the prestigious competition held in January 2026, all three varieties of honey from the BeoBee Honey Factory were recognized: the linden honey achieved outstanding performance, taking second place overall out of hundreds of entrants and receiving a Platinum rating, while the Hungarian factory’s acacia honey won the highest Platinum grade of the competition, and its mixed flower honey received a Gold rating.

The jury evaluated the honeys using a blind tasting method, without packaging or identification marks, at one of Europe’s largest international honey competitions. During the judging, the overall effect and enjoyment value were given the greatest emphasis, and the appearance, aroma, taste and texture of the honeys were also taken into account. The products were scored based on their unique properties, not in competition with each other, but according to an international quality system.

The competition was dominated by Hungarian producer honeys: the BeoBee Honey Factory linden honey finished as one of the best in the entire field, with 2nd place out of all the honeys entered, plus a Platinum rating. The highest level of the international ranking, i.e. the Platinum rating, was also earned by the BeoBee hungarikum acacia honey. At the Paris International Honey Awards, the beekeeping mixed flower honey received a Gold rating.
