Takeover of mill boosts PannonMill's capacity to 300 thousand tons
Milling company PannonMill's takeover of operations at a mill in Baja is going to raise its market share from 20% to 25-26%, chairman-CEO Zoltán Poór pointed out within the compass of a press conference on Thursday.
Taking over operation of the mill will raise PannonMill's output from 220,000 annually to 300,000 tonnes, the expert added. Hungarian mills will mill about 1.2 million tonnes of this year's 4-million-tonne wheat harvest, he said. About two-thirds of this year's harvest is of milling quality, up 10% in volume from last year, he added.
