After a decade of decrease, the grape grown area in the Pannonhalma wine region increased this year and this year's harvest is one of the best of the last decades – said Vaszari László mountain village president to MTI on Thursday.
In 1990, the grown area was 1080 hectares, but halved in two decades. The eclipse stopped last year, and this year a 78 hectares new planting took place, now grapes 608 are produced on 608 hectares – reports MTI.
