Palma de Mallorca has forbidden night alcohol sales in several tourist zones
Town officials have produced stricter regulations ahead of the tourist season in Mallorca in an attempt to prevent sex scandals that are the result of drunken bar crawls.
“As Jaime Martínez, Minister of Tourism for the Balearics, has said, this is not an issue that can be solved in one season, but clamping down on drunken antics and antisocial behaviour is at least a step in the right direction,” (MTI)
