After the government announced the free fruit preparation, the wine and soda and home made beer makers feel, that they suffer unjustified discrimination. They would like to achive a reduction of their tax burdens and paperwork.
Currently in Hungary, home brewing is not legal, the small distilleries should follow the same rules as large multinational firms. Although in the case of wineries, there is a simplified case of tax warehouse, every small Hungarian breweries are beer tax warehouses, so virtually every day, they should report all of their steps (brewed quantity, stock, sales volume, etc..) to the custom authority – reports penzcentrum.hu.
