Night of Pálinka, 2023

The Pálinka National Council organized a gastronomic dinner entitled Pálinka Night, with the aim of popularizing the consumption of quality pálinka in moderation and drawing attention to the fact that pálinka is not only our national drink, but also a quality food ingredient and food spice.

At the same time as the tasting dinner in the capital, those interested could enjoy a unique menu of dishes prepared with brandy at 17 rural and capital locations in 19 restaurants and 3 pálinka distilleries, as well as in a patisserie.

After three years, the Pálinka National Council has once again launched the gastronomic initiative called Pálinka Night, the aim of which is to make pálinka, the number one hungaricum of our country, not only as an alcoholic drink, but also as a restaurant ingredient, even as a spice, to become the focus of interest in domestic restaurants, and at the same time consumers also get a pálinka gastronomic experience.
