Pepsi purchased bottling plants
PepsiCo Inc. has purchased its two large bottling plants, the Pepsi Bottling Group (PBG) and the PepsiAmericas, (PA). The two companies have a total value estimated at 7.8 billion dollars.
PepsiCo will pay 36.50 USD, 7 USD more per share – than the original offer – for PBG, and 28.50 USD, 5 USD more per share for PA. According to company reports that due to the transaction the company can reach 300 million USD pre-tax savings until 2012 – reports Napi Gazdaság.
