A special four-legged guest awaits visitors at Westend MediaMarkt between the two holidays. A high-tech robot dog has arrived at the store, which not only walks and waves, but is also available for petting. The technological attraction will be the store’s “housekeeper” until the end of January, bringing the innovation of the future closer to hand.

Although we often hear about robotic developments, it is a rare moment for such a device to be completely freely available to the general public in a store, in operation. The “pet” that is now making its debut at Westend does not rest behind a display case: it will enter into real contact with customers, so that adults interested in technology and children curious about new types of toys can also take a look.

The essence of MediaMarkt’s “Experience Electronics” strategy is precisely to make the store more than a row of shelves and boxes. Visitors can not only see, but also experience innovation. That is why the company is creating more and more interactive spaces where the latest devices – be it new gaming devices, smart home equipment or even a robot dog – can be tried out and understood first-hand.

The QUADRUPED Go2 Pro model arrived at the Budapest store in collaboration with the German company QUADRUPED Robotics. And those who would like to see such a companion from the future in their own living room after the presentation can order it via the partner company’s website.

The robot dog will be on duty at Westend until the end of January.
