Packforum 2012 – Food protection from farm to fork
This year’s Packforum opened its gates in Paris at the time SIAL was held and the event’s main theme was food safety. Through this topic organiser Sealed Air also called attention to the fact that two years after the acquisition of Diversey they developed a unique and comprehensive ‘farm to fork’ food and beverage packaging hygiene solution. This year Packforum was a bit more spectacular than in former years as it was Sealed Air who developed the packaging for the Global SIAL d’Or winner Hungarian trout product. Sealed Air Hungary director András Hodossy told that they are delighted about PLP Seafood’s success, and are proud of being associated with a world success from Hungary and with SELFISH products. The Cryovac ovenable bag keeps the product fresh and offers ready-for-the-oven convenience.
