JYSK’s newest store opens in Ózd, on the occasion of which the company once again supports a non-governmental organization
On November 6, JYSK’s newest store will open in Ózd, which will be their 101st store in Hungary. On the occasion of new store openings, the retail store chain organizes a charity event to support the local community. With the involvement of customers and the public, the NGO that receives a HUF 500,000 JYSK voucher as a gift is selected.
JYSK regularly opens new stores in Hungary: the company already opened a store in Debrecen in the 2024/2025 fiscal year, which is also the 100th JYSK store in Hungary. The company’s second new store of the financial year will be waiting for customers in Ózd from November 6.
When designing the new stores, JYSK follows the 3.0 store concept. In the spirit of this, special attention is paid to energy efficiency, which is why, for example, the department stores get new LED lighting, and motion sensors are installed in the social rooms. Separate mattress studios are also set up in the stores, where customers can not only try the products, but also get advice from JYSK experts.
Next year, it will be 20 years since JYSK has been present in our country, and in recent decades the Danish company has become part of the lives of Hungarian people. This is why it is important for JYSK to support local communities. That is why the retail chain connects store openings with a charitable donation each time.
