Fifty-eight percent think that the home-produced food is safer
According to Nielsen market research company’s online survey carried out in 54 countries, including Hungary; Food safety is an important aspect for every second Hungarian.
Half of the Hungarians willing to pay higher prices for food, that can be consumed safely. (The international average is 64 percent). In Hungary, 45 percent agree, that "organic food is safer, than what is traditionally produced. (The international average is 51 percent).
Most of the Hungarians, (58 percent) believe that the home-produced food is safer than imports. Moreover, more than half of the Hungarians, (53 percent) are actively looking for domestic products in the shops.
