Fifty types of Egri wines can be tasted at the Stars of Eger Festival during the weekend

This year, 25 wineries will represent themselves with Star of Eger and Bull's Blood of Eger wines at the 3rd Stars of Eger Festival, which will take place in the castle of Eger between Thursday and Saturday.

The festival is designed to promote the Stars of Eger white blending. “Not many people know that 50 percent of the plantations of the Eger wine region are white grape varieties. Usually Bull's Blood comes to mind to everyone in connection with Eger. With the introduction of the new wine three years ago, we wanted to raise awareness to the white grape varieties of the region” – Gál Tibor winemaker said at the press conference of the festival on Monday.
