Inspectors found fifty tons of unmarked melons in Balkány
Inspectors found more than 50 tons of unmarked watermelons at a watermelon-purchasing center in Balkány, Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg county – Budai Gyula informed MTI on Friday.
Budai Gyula, the Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs in the Ministry of Rural Development (VM) said: the Special Affairs Directorate of the National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih) and the experts of the National Tax and Customs Office (NAV) checked the watermelon-purchasing center on Wednesday morning in Balkány.
