More homelike environment at the Debrecen Children’s Clinic

The birth of a new life brings a miracle and magical period to the families concerned. In the case of babies born before time, however, there is often a serious concern whether early arrival may endanger the health of the newborn or, worse, even his or her life.

Pregnant Centers – equipped with the most modern equipments and the most prominent doctors – will do their utmost to heal the premature infants. But even weeks, months may be needed to get the children home. Therefore, the NaturAqua and the National Association for the Premature Babies (KORE) are trying to make hospital rooms more homelike for the parents. Now the Debrecen Perinatal Intensive Center’s (PIC) mother rooms were transformed into family friendly rooms with new furniture, accessories, kitchen, sleeping areas and bathroom utensils.
