The water content in meat is five fold
Instead of the usual 2-3, but not more than 5 percent water content, 24.4 percent water was found in 80 tonnes of pork, of Kapuvári Meat Ltd. purchased by the NIT Ltd. of Szabadka.
The NIT Ltd. received 80 tons of frozen pork from Kapuvári Meat Ltd. last year. According to the owner Dusan Radovanovic; customers have indicated that during melting, there is more water than usual. It was found out that there are small holes in the frozen boneless meat. This means that, even before freezing, water was injected into the meat. According to Radovanovic apart from this case, previously never had any problems with Hungarian meat – reports Menedzsment Fórum after the article of Magyar Szó.
