The Ministry of Rural Development is considering the introduction of the five percent VAT in the pig sector
The Ministry of Rural Development proposes the introduction of the five percent VAT in the pig sector, after the reverse VAT veto in Brussels. The ministry's proposal is being discussed with the Ministry of National Economy (NGM) – Horváth István ministerial commissioner told MTI.
Horváth István explained that after the conclusion of the consultations the proposal will be submitted to the Government by the end of April. He said that Fazekas Sándor Minister of Rural Development entrusted him to discuss the proposal with the Ministry of National Economy (NGM) According to the ministerial commissioner the Ministry of National Economy agrees with the essence of the proposal.
