Auchan expects a five hundred tons of Christmas fondant traffic

It is expected, that 60 percent of the sold sweets in this year’s Christmas season will be Chritmas fondants. Its amount may reach 500 tons in the Auchan stores.

The second most popular product is the Santa Claus figure, whics is 25 percent of the confectionery sales. Especially the Santa Claus figures that are made of milk chocolate and have high cocoa content are the most popular. The Christmas packages, pralines and calendars are the 15 percent of the total Christmas sweets sales. The company awaits its customers with one of the widest selection of sweets and with several promotions, during the Christmas season.
