The Budapest Airport has become the best airport in Eastern Europe for the fifth time
The Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport won the Skytrax Award for the “Best Airport in Eastern Europe” award for the fifth consecutive time – the Budapest Airport told MTI.
The London-based Skytrax aviation consultancy company compiles the annual global and regional rankings of airlines and airports based on passenger inquiries.
The passenger traffic of the Liszt Ferenc International Airport last year increased by 14.5 percent to over 13.1 million, while in January this year passenger traffic increased by 17 percent, compared to January of the previous year and was close to one million.
