The weather is favorable for green peas, the yield may increase by more than 20 percent, and the expansion of the supply may reduce the wild prices – napi.hu wrote.

In Hungary, 88 thousand tons of green peas were produced on 20.6 thousand hectares in 2019, while in 2018 90 thousand tons according to KSH data. This year – despite the slightly declining production area – the amount harvested may increase significantly, as the cooler May weather favored green peas.
