HUF 5 million penalty for Rossmann
According to the Hungarian Competition Authority the drogerie chain's parfume actions in 2007 September and December fobed the consumers. It was not the first case.
In the first action Rossmann offered
Charlie parfumes for HUF 999, but the assortment was to small, in
some stores the product was not available. In December the drogerie chain offered
the Chevignon's parfume by 50% discount, altough the real price
decrease was only 33%.The competition authority heightened
the penalty because the aggrievement was not only one product, the
problem stood in the whole chain and fobed the wide range of the
consumers.
