Lifestyle changers raised five million forints for the Children’s Nutrition Foundation

This year, BioTechUSA and the Fitness5 network encouraged people to return to the gym: during the “Back to the Gym” campaign, which ran from September 15 to October 12, brand ambassadors Eszter Oczella and Jenő Kiss, as well as the company’s experts, supported those returning to the gym with motivating and educational content. Just like last year, this year’s participants were able to serve a good cause: with every gym entry, they also helped the work of the Children’s Nutrition Foundation.

Fall is a time of conscious re-starting for many, but the first steps often prove difficult, which is why BioTechUSA wanted to help all those who wanted to return to healthier, more balanced everyday lives with its fall Back to the Gym campaign. In all of this, the company’s ambassadors and experts supported the participants with educational content and useful advice on exercise and nutrition, while the group encouraged beginners and those who are just starting out to take the first steps with significant shopping discounts.

Sport and heart: healthier eating for children

In addition to useful tips, the campaign also served a good cause, as the Children’s Nutrition Foundation was supported by those who wanted to exercise. Each participant contributed 30 forints to the fundraising by training in any gym of the national Fitness5 gym network. The company’s employees also joined in the collection, as they also supported the foundation’s work with 30 forints after their workouts at the central office building on Huszti Street and the gym of the production and logistics center in Szada. During this year’s campaign, nearly 175 thousand gym visits were made, which is 20 thousand more than last year, so the initiative achieved greater activity than ever before.  In addition, the Fitness5 network also contributed 500 thousand forints to the fundraising. The company donated 100% of the collected amount to the foundation, which this year reached a record amount of 5.3 million forints.

The donation collected during the Back to the Gym campaign supports an organization that has been working for more than three decades to ensure that no child goes to bed hungry in Hungary. The nationwide organization has so far delivered regular, quality food donations to more than 24,000 children and has provided assistance to more than 10,000 families in their everyday lives. The foundation’s goal is not only to provide immediate support, but also to give opportunities to all those who are trying to cope in difficult circumstances. Through their volunteer programs and national initiatives, they engage thousands of communities in charity every year to work together to ensure that every child can live a healthier, fuller life. The Back to the Gym campaign has also provided significant assistance in this mission.

Not a month of change – a conscious lifestyle change

Although this year’s Back to the Gym campaign has ended, it can still serve as motivation to make lifestyle changes not campaign-like, but a conscious thing to follow every day. Based on the advice of experts, it is therefore worth setting realistic, personalized goals, creating a followable training plan and gradually increasing the load. Always pay attention to warm-up, stretching, rest time and don’t forget the other important cornerstone, healthy nutrition! If we maintain these habits, a healthy lifestyle will become an enjoyable part of our everyday lives.
