Five buyers interested in Borsodi Brewery
There's a great interest towards ABInBev brewing industry group's Eastern European breweries offered for sale, including Borsodi Brewery.
ABInBev wants to sell eleven breweries in Bulgaria, in the Czech Republic, in Croatia, in Hungary, in Montenegro, in Romania and in Serbia. The first phase of bidding is expected to come to an end in two weeks. According to analysts, professional investors are not to be expected. The value of shares for sale can be betwen 1.9 and 2.3 billion dollars. According to the informations of Reuters, at least five major international private equity funds were transferred into the race. The five international private equity funds are: the Cinven used to invest only in Europe, the American-European-Asian Warburg Pincus, the international CVC Capital Partners with U.S. origins, TPG Capital and Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co (KKR) – reports Népszabadság Online.
