The turnover of nonprescription products related to the digestive system grew by five percent
The retail sales of nonprescription products related to the digestive system (gastroenterology), between November 2012 and October 2013 increased by 12 billion HUF, which is five percent increase, compared with the previous twelve months.
The greatest increase occurred at anticonvulsants and products used for liver and gall; 23 and 10 percent – the Retail Index of the Nielsen consumer information and knowledge services company shows.
In December, the demand particularly increases towards digestion agents. This segment has reach 10 percent of its annual turnove in December 2012, which means more than 350 million HUF in a single month. (Nielsen)
