The sales price of wine rose by five percent
The sales price of domestically produced wines increased by more than five percent per hectolitre in 2017, compared to the previous year’s prices – agrarszektor.hu wrote.
While the Hungarian wine export grew by three percent, compared with 2016, wine imports dropped significantly by nearly 20 percent.
The domestic sales of wines without geographical indication and with protected geographical indication increased by eight per cent in 2017, compared to the previous year. The demand for white wines increased by almost nine percent, and demand for red and rosé wine grew by seven percent in the observed period. (agrarszektor.hu)
