Borsodi expects five percent price increase for the next year
From 2011, the Borsodi brewery plans a 1-3 percent average revenue growth. Although the Hungarian beer market has showed a 8-9 percent decline in 2010, the company expects to repeat the performance of last year – said Tőtös Zsolt the company's Chief Executive on Wednesday, at a press conference in Budapest.
Borsodi this year expects similar revenues to last year and probably its pre-tax profit also reaches last year’s level.. Last year, the Borsodi brewery reached a net revenue of 40.6 billion HUF, its pre-tax profit was 1.7 billion HUF.
About 60 percent the brewery's products were sold as a discount this year – reports Origo.
