Retail sales in the Czech Republic grew by over five percent
In February, retail sales in the Czech Republic increased by 5.1 percent year-on-year. In January, this indicator stood at 4.9 percent – the Czech Statistical Office announced on Friday in Prague.
The monthly retail sales growth was 0.4 percent.
In February, sales of Internet shops increased the most, by 18.6 percent. The proportion of clothing and footwear was 13.6 percent more than a year ago, spending on sports, culture and leisure increased by 12.3 percent. (MTI)
