Fifty-two winemakers of five countries present their wines at this year's Kürti Wine Festival this weekend
The event is taking place in the cellars of Kürt (Strekov) village on Saturday and Sunday. Exhibitors will arrive from Hungary, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Romania, Slovenia, so the visitors can taste not only the typical wine varieties, but can compare the wines of different wine regions.
The organizers are pleased that more and more local winemakers consider it important to present their wines to the audience: among the 52 exhibitors 27 are from Kürt. A novelty will also accompany the event: homemade fruit spirits from Ógyalla and Marcelháza will also debut.
At the two-day event in addition to wine tastings, those who are interested can take part on a free sommelier course. (Lengyel Diana, MTI)
