Five Hungarian hotels also won awards at the World Luxury Hotel Awards gala
At the 18th World Luxury Hotel Awards gala held in Galgorm, Northern Ireland, five Hungarian hotels received prestigious recognition, including the Mystery Hotel in Budapest, which was also among the best in the world. The World Luxury Hotel Awards, founded in 2006, is now one of the world’s most recognized awards in the field of tourism and hospitality. The purpose of the event is to praise hotels and hospitality establishments that provide the most outstanding services, especially in terms of elegance and exclusivity.
Among the Hungarian hotels, the following received awards:
Hotel Vinifera Wine & Spa
Minaro Hotel Tokaj MGallery
Dorothea Hotel, Budapest, Autograph Collection
LUA Resort
The Mystery Hotel in Budapest was particularly successful, earning not only regional but also global recognition. The hotel won the title of Global Luxury Rooftop View Hotel of the Year, which goes to luxury hotels with the best panoramic views in the world. In addition, it received the Best Luxury Historical Hotel award in the Eastern European region and was also recognized as Hungary’s Best Luxury Design Boutique Hotel, confirming the hotel’s unique, historically inspired and special design.
As part of the World Luxury Hotel Awards, luxury hotels compete in more than 100 categories, and the awards are decided annually by the votes of hundreds of thousands of guests and professionals. This year’s gala shows not only the international success of Hungarian hotels, but also that Hungarian hospitality is at the international forefront in terms of luxury and quality service.
