Five Hungarian medals at the Champagne World Championships
One gold and four silver medals were won by the items of the Somló-based Kreinbacher Winery and the Törley Champagne Winery at this year’s Champagne World Championship (CSWWC).
At the world’s most prestigious international champagne competition, champions from 18 countries were awarded; In addition to the champagnes from Hungary, the Kárászteleki Champagne Winery from the Szilágyság also ended the competition with good results: the Carassia Classic Brut’s champagne magnum bottle received gold, two additional champagnes received silver medals – the Kreinbacher Winery told MTI on Monday.
