The tourism of Győr doubled over a five-year period

The number of guest nights has doubled in Győr in the past five years – according to the statistics. Due to the development hotels would be needed to expanded – the mayor told MTI.

Borkai Zsolt (Fidesz-KDNP) explained that in 2009 187 thousand, in 2010 234 thousand, a year later 284 thousand, in 2012, 358 thousand guests nights were recorded in local hotels, motels. The growth is continuous. Last year, 332 thousand guest nights were recorded in Győr, and on the basis for the first six months, the specialists calculate with similar results. (MTI)
