In five years, 36,000 tons of embargoed food has been destroyed in Russia
Over the past five years, 36,170 tons of products imported in violation of the food embargo have been destroyed in Russia, the Russian Agricultural Inspection Service (Rosselhoznadzor) said.
Of the food destroyed, 34,940 tonnes came from crops and 1,230 tonnes from livestock. This year, 1,890 tons of goods were destroyed, of which 1,870 tons were of plant origin. (MTI)
