The number of mobile subscribers to increase by 2.6 billion in five years
In the next five years, the number of mobile subscribers will increase by 2.6 billion, last year, the broadband mobile net services had 4.4 billion subscribers worldwide, according to Ericsson’s June Mobility Report.
According to the telecoms company’s forecast, global mobile data traffic may grow by eight times by 2022, with mobile data traffic of smartphones to 66 bytes per month (data amount that could have been stored on more than 16 billion DVDs). (MTI)
