The CAP’s system will be more complex
EU's new Common Agricultural Policy’s (CAP) system that will be introduced in 2014 will be more complex than now – Czerván György, Minister of State for the Rural Development Ministry respinsible for agri management told at the Parliament’s agriculture committee meeting on Monday.
Czerván György, indicated that Hungary in the new system – according to preliminary calculations – between 2014-2020 can expect about 12.3 billion euros of agricultural and rural development support. This means that the amount of direct payments will increase by 1.9 billion euros, while the rural development funds will decrease by about 400 million euros. The latter support will not be less – he added – because it will be completed from other sources, such as from the Cohesion Fund. (MTI)
