Medicinal herb companies team up
NAK’s herbal medicine department has been refounded and it will nurture a closer relationship with the Medicinal Herb Association and Product Board (GYSZT). One of the objectives is to market more farm-grown medicinal herbs than wild-grown ones, and to back the sector with joint marketing and educational campaigns. Zoltán Czirbus, president of NAK’s herbal medicine department told: at the moment 60-70 percent of medicinal herbs are collected from nature, but this situation isn’t sustainable. //
