Coming together for those in need – Food distribution in Akácos Udvar, District 7
Members of the CEONET Club also joined the 11-year-old Sunday food distribution of the Weekly Betevő. The organization’s work was supported by volunteers from the community of company leaders on February 16. During the event, 300 portions of food were distributed to those in need, which were prepared by the Weekly Betevő chef.
Community collaboration for those in need
16 members of CEONET participated in the food distribution, who consider it their heart’s desire to lend a helping hand to those in difficult situations as part of their social responsibility.
“It is important that anyone who can do good should do so. Since its establishment, CEONET has continuously supported organizations that work for good causes. If we can help people who are in a more difficult situation with a bowl of food, then we will do so. During the event, we distributed 300 portions of food to those in need, which were prepared by the chef of the Weekly Eater, guaranteeing a delicious and nutritious menu. The club members provided the financial resources necessary to purchase the ingredients. The hot dish was turkey ragout with tarragon sour cream and bulgur.”
– said Andrea Trattner, CEONET’s executive director.
Not a one-off event
The event is not a one-off action, CEONET aims to regularly organize similar programs and join social movements. The participants believe that social sensitivity and cooperation not only provide help to those in need, but also strengthen the community. “When a community comes together for a good cause, not only the cause advances, but the community is also enriched by it,” added the leader.
