A national game stew and wine festival to be held in Zalaegerszeg
The hunting and gastronomic traditions of the area, the treasures of the forests and fields, and the natural beauty of the area will be presented in Zalaegerszeg at the National Game Stew and Wine Festival, between 6 – 8 September.
The harvest festival was reopened in 2015 at the Zala county seat – Balaicz Zoltán, mayor of Zalaegerszeg (Fidesz-KDNP) told at a press briefing on Monday.
One-third of Zala County is covered with forests. Hunting activities are taking place on 321,000 hectares (54 hunting grounds), and the county’s wildlife and hunting tourism is also popular – the mayor added. (MTI)
