Baker Festival in Komárom
Several thousand people visited the monastery-fortress of Komárom during the weekend, where the national Baker Festival took place for the seventh time. This year, the Napoleonic times was summoned by the participants.
The event is closely linked to the Bread museum which was founded in 2003 in the monastery fortress of Komárom. The Bread museum was developed in the bakery of the former military fort, where the collection of the National Baking Industry Memory Storage can be seen. The visitors of the Baker Festival could purchase from the food stand of Pesti Barnabás Vocational School and High School, where students spent their summer professional practice there – reports 24 Óra Online.
