National pálinka competition in Gyula
Gyula will host the Hungarian National Pálinka and International Fruit Distillates Competition. The prize ceremony will be held in the scope of the 11th. Kisüsti Pálinka Festival, Exhibition and Fair.
The jury will judge the pálinkas and fruit distillates, between 29th and 31st of March, in the D-Hotel in Gyula, the result ceremony will be held on the 17th of April on the courtyard of the castle of Gyula.
The winning pálinka of the 2010 competition will be retained as national treasure and between the 3rd and the 6th of December 2010, it will be transpoted into the Hungarian Agricultural Museum, in the scope of the 3rd St. Nicholas Day Pálinka festive (Budapest) – reports the www.palinkafesztival.hu site.
