Russia seeks self-sufficiency in chicken breeding
A serious fall may occur in European chicken exports in a couple of years, if Russia succeeds in the development of its own chicken breeding. Consumption slightly increases in the community.
According to Agri Europe’s newsletter; The crisis can help the chicken breeders: a large part of the citizens of the European Union prefer cheaper poultry, instead of pork and beef in recent years. Yet despite the internal growth, outlooks are not so good in trade. The export this year will be smaller, than last year, and other long-term negative trends will also prevail – reports szabadfold.hu.
