Russia can withdraw the import ban on Hungarian pork in mid-March
Russia is expected to withdraw the import ban on Hungarian live pigs, pork and pork products in mid-March – Kardeván Endre told MTI on Wednesday.
The Minister of State of the Ministry of Rural Development (VM), responsible for Food Chain surveillance and agri management talked about it on Wednesday, in front of the county veterinarians.
The Minister of State reminded that the Russian Federation, Belarus and Kazakhstan stopped pork import from the European Union at the end of January after African swine fever was detected in Lithuania. (MTI)
