Russia joins to the World Trade Organization
Moscow and Brussels signed the document of the WTO accession on the 7th of December – said Russian Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandr Zhukov in Moscow. According to the report of ITAR-Tass; Zhukov said, that Russia's accession to the WTO, is foreign economic priority.
Russia is the worlds largest economy, without a WTO membership. Russia is working on the accession for more than a decade, but political or economic developments, were repeatedly blocked the process.
According to the rules of the WTO; any Member State can counteract the entry of a country. Russia seeks to become a member of the World Trade Organization, for 17 years now – reports Világgazdaság Online, after ITAR-Tass.
