Russia can be the export-great power of agricultural products
Russia a few years ago decided to quit the importer's role. In the case of grain, Russia became self-sufficient, in the case of poultry and pigs in ten years time they would become self-sufficient, and a large exporter.
Russia is working on the realignment of world trade and global economy for many years. The state was totally dependent of imports, now the goal is to become the biggest players in the food market of the world – said President Dmitry Medvedev.
These are bad news not only for those states, that have sold the products to Russia, but for those exporters, who will soon face a new, very serious competition – reports szabadfold.hu.
