Russia is preparing to expand its agricultural exports
Russia has fulfilled the role of import substitution for the main foodstuffs, now agricultural exports have to be expanded, Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Gorgyejev said on Wednesday in Moscow.
Gorgyejev called agro-ecology and the production of organic products as a potential area for progress.
“I think Russia as a country with huge natural resources, including land, can be positioned as a producer of organic products in the world,” he said. (Pogár Demeter, MTI)
