Russian embargo: Brussels extends the support measures
The European Commission will extend the scope of the measures, which seeks to ease the impact of the Russian import ban affect the fruit growers and the dairy industry – teh European Commission announced on Thursday.
For the dairy industry, the direct market sales of butter and skimmed milk powder would be terminated as well as the storage support from the end of September, but the committee will extend this option until the end of February 2016. (MTI)
