Viktor Orbán: tourism had a record summer
This year was a record summer for Hungarian tourism, never before have so many Hungarians vacationed within the country’s borders, and never before have so many tourists visited Hungary – the Prime Minister announced on Monday before the agenda in the Parliament.
Viktor Orbán added: never before have so many Hungarians vacationed abroad as this year.
The prime minister emphasized that in June, after nearly twenty years, Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport was once again taken into national hands. “We have taken back our country’s global gateway,” he said, indicating that based on the summer data, the number of passengers at the airport will reach 17.5 million, which will once again compete with European Union airports, which are considered rivals.
Viktor Orbán called the purchase of a stake in one of the world’s largest natural gas fields by Magyar Villemos Művek of historical significance.
