Viktor Orbán: Economic recovery and historic opportunities for 2025
On Friday morning, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán presented the Hungarian government’s economic goals for 2025 and the potential for a global turnaround in the world on Kossuth Radio. The Prime Minister highlighted that Hungary could embark on an economic growth path, driven by a further increase in minimum wages and general wage levels.
The 2025 goals and the importance of the budget
In his speech, Viktor Orbán emphasized that the Hungarian government’s economic strategy is centered on stability and development. According to the Prime Minister, the 2025 budget is crucial, as it creates a basis for achieving economic growth above 3%. He highlighted that the 3-year agreement with the trade unions is a significant step in raising wages and minimum wages.
Raising teachers’ wages was also a key topic, which could have a further positive impact on the economy and society as a whole. According to Viktor Orbán, the increase in wage levels not only improves the quality of life of workers, but also contributes to the long-term stability of the economy.
Global changes and historic opportunities
According to the Prime Minister, the world could reach a significant turning point in 2025, when a comprehensive global change could begin with the new US president taking office. “This will be a flying start for the world, in which Hungary can also be involved on a historic scale,” Orbán said.
The Prime Minister spoke optimistically about the future of Hungary, in which inflation and economic difficulties could be replaced by prosperity and success. The changes taking place in Western civilization could represent a historic opportunity for Hungary to exploit its economic potential.
