Orbán Viktor: “Although there have been price reductions in stores, it has only happened for a few products”
Prime Minister Viktor Orbán spoke on the morning program of Kossuth Radio, saying that it is not yet time to lift the price freeze.
“What has happened so far is not enough to curb inflation. Although there have been price reductions in stores, it has only affected a few products,”
he said.
“I expect a more noticeable and widespread inflation reduction in April, and I anticipate a decrease in May and June,”
he added.
The government promised to lift the price freeze only if they can reduce inflation to a single digit.
