Optimism in Europe's strongest economy
The sentiment index for the assessment of the economic outlook of the Mannheim-based ZEW (Zentrum für Europäische Wirtschaftsforschung) increased much stronger-than-expected in November, while the assessment of the current business environment also improved.
According to ZEW’s publication, released on Tuesday, the sentiment index for the expectations of the German economy’s participant for the next six months, increased to 11.5 points in November, from the minus 3.6 points of October. In September, the index was standing on 6.9 points. The market expected only 0.5 points for November. (MTI)
